New Zealand schools are eligible for a free one term full program trial of the research-proven Lexia Reading Core5 and PowerUp programs. (If you are not in New Zealand please contact your local Lexia representative.)
Trials are one per school and as many staff/classes as needed can be involved. We request one person to be the main trial facilitator with us throughout.
This is the application and launch process:
A 30 minute meeting providing an overview of the program, how it works, and who it is aimed to use with. Ask any questions you may have. This could be a good session for other key decision makers to sit in on.
Step 2: Complete the trial application form further down this page. Trial accounts are created after the Program Intro Zoom Meeting.
Step 3: Book Launch Training. Please allow a space of a few days between your Program Intro and Launch Training Zoom Meeting dates so we have time to create an account for you. This session typically takes somewhere between 30-45 minutes.
We appreciate that teacher time is precious. To ensure students experience success, trials should be actioned when both staff and students will be able to commit to using the program consistently throughout the term. We will support teachers via email, phone and personalised online training to maximise trial benefits. Teachers are expected to motivate students and engage with the reporting system, which will guide them towards efficient targeted instruction.
Try the online student component for the age groups you work with: ‘Lexia Reading Core5’ for Year 1-6 students of all skill levels, and ‘Lexia PowerUp Literacy’ for Year 7+ remediation.
Not sure if you are ready to trial yet or just have more questions about the program? You are most welcome to book a personal Program Intro meeting to help you decide. There is no commitment to trial following this program introduction and it's a quick way to find out what you want to know about the program. Allow about 30 minutes.
CORE5 / POWERUP FREE SCHOOL TRIAL APPLICATION FORM
This application is for New Zealand schools only.
Trials are personally supported by real people on our team. The Trial Contact nominated in the form below will be the main person we involve in trial training and communications, although other staff can definitely be involved too.
A trial is a significant commitment from both yourself and us, so we provide a Program Intro meeting first where you can ask questions and opt out if you decide not to proceed. You can enrol for the Program Intro meeting without signing up for the trial below. Refer above.
There is no limit to the number of staff and students who can trial the program and these will be set up subsequently as part of the trial set up process.
