DATA DRIVEN, TEACHER-LED INSTRUCTION
Teachers have online access to real-time detailed student data that identifies specific skills to focus teacher instruction on. Student dashboards also encourage self-monitoring.
As students work independently in the online activities, teachers can access up-to-the-minute data reports and printable resources through the ‘myLexia’ teacher portal on a browser, iPad app, or iPhone app.
a
CLASS ACTION PLAN
Within the data reports, a data-driven action plan is provided to take the guesswork out of differentiating instruction by focusing the teacher’s time on the greatest needs in the classroom and prescribing the instructional intensity needed to help students reach their end-of-year benchmark.
Click the interactive Action Plan buttons highlighted below to view samples of key class dashboard data and support materials.
a
DETAILED STUDENT DATA
A couple of mouse clicks will provide more detailed student data when teachers want to focus on a specific student. A few examples follow.
Reviewing of a full Detailed Skills report can help teachers identify patterns in the type of skills, sounds, etc a student struggles with most e.g. perhaps they are they struggling with audio tasks more than visual ones etc, or perhaps the ‘b’ sound trips them up most.
